    • Corn or flour tortillas
    • Shredded lettuce
    • Diced tomatoes
    • Shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or cotija)
    • Sour cream
    • Salsa
    • Guacamole
    • Fresh cilantro
    • Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef Filling:
    • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
    • Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
    • Stir in the tomato paste, water, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  2. Warm the Tortillas:
    • Heat tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side or until warm and pliable.
  3. Assemble the Tacos:
    • Place a spoonful of the beef mixture onto each tortilla.
    • Add desired toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, fresh cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
