Instructions
- Prepare the Beef Filling:
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the tomato paste, water, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Warm the Tortillas:
- Heat tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side or until warm and pliable.
- Assemble the Tacos:
- Place a spoonful of the beef mixture onto each tortilla.
- Add desired toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, guacamole, fresh cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.
